I was born and raised in Picton, escaped and returned as I believe we live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. My partner Gerald and I have three daughters, with the youngest two attending QCC. I have 3 award winning Hair Salons in Marlborough and believe that education at work or at school is the backbone to any community. I have been on previous Boards of Trustees and am currently President of the Marlborough/Nelson Association of Registered Hairdressers.

She currently holds a National role within the NZ Kennel Club coordinating the Junior Handlers and was a founding member in the set up and structure of the NZ Young Kennel Club. Pauline has been President and a committee member of the Marlborough Kennel Assn over the last 20 years. I grew up in Picton and attended Queen Charlotte College, my husband Gavin and I have owned marine businesses in Picton for the past 20 years. We love being part of the Picton community and can't think of a better place in NZ to raise our three young children. As well as the marine industry, I have a background in travel, tourism and finance and hope that the skills I have gained in these areas, will help me fulfil my role on the QCC board.
I have been teaching at QCC since 1993 and was appointed Principal in 2016. I have been a Science teacher, I lead Aramoana to 8 years of Victory, HoD Science, Assistant Principal and Deputy Principal - leader of curriculum in that time as well as establishing and becoming the Director of the Aquaculture Academy.

Kia ora! I’m a 16 year old student at Queen Charlotte College and have been attending the college now for three years. I’m really passionate about the environment and learning new things, with this leading to a multitude of exciting opportunities, both within and outside of the college. The whānau atmosphere at QCC is super important to me, and whenever I’m involved in activities outside of school, I’m both humbled and proud to call QCC my place of learning. At QCC, both the staff and students work together and respect each other to create this whānau atmosphere, a learning atmosphere that many schools can only dream of having. As the Student BoT Rep, my goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to voice their thoughts and opinions about their school life, and to feel the same pride and positive atmosphere while they’re at Queen Charlotte College.
